The Cortland College-Community Orchestra is a full-sized, volunteer symphony orchestra which performs two concerts yearly, in November and April. We are comprised of area students and adults and are accepting new members for the 2008-2009 season.
Our opening meeting will be held on Monday, August 25 from 7-9 PM in Room 107 of the Dowd Fine Arts Center on the SUNY Cortland campus. Eligibility is determined by audition or the conductor's permission. The opening meeting includes auditions for those who wish to be heard and discussions for those who do not. We are looking for oboists, bassoonists, and string players primarily but will consider any orchestral instrument.
